THE STRAIGHT PATH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
- "THE STRAIGHT PATH" is a Gaining Freedom Incorporated sponsored mentorship program for teenage children of both incarcerated, and released convicted felons. Our goal is NOT to replace the role of the parent. In contrast, it is the goal of Gaining Freedom Incorporated to support the parent by encouraging the teenager that regardless of the current circumstance, they can still be successful. We pair the teenager with a compassionate mentor who will do all they can to stimulate that adolescent's desire to prosper, and achieve success. The mentorship program also assists the teenager with life planning. This aspect includes everything from how to budget, to how to prepare for life after high school. In short, Gaining Freedom Incorporated, with the assistance of it's partners will do whatever is necessary to help that teenager, and soon to be young adult, arrive at, and then remain on THE STRAIGHT PATH!
